Waking Vision was formed in 2000 at Berklee College of Music in Boston when guitarist and composer John Shannon, bassist Peter Slavov, and drummer Martin Valihora came together with a shared vision.

Their music stands at the intersection of jazz and fusion - improvised, with colorful sound, strong pulsing energy, and distinctive groove.

About the venue: Jazz Dock

Jazz Dock is a design jazz club opened in 2009 on the banks of the Vltava river in Prague's Smíchov district, opposite Children's Island. It regularly hosts concerts of jazz, funk, soul, blues and world music, as well as its own festivals. The interior was designed by architects Ivan Sládek and Jaroslav Ourecký; a rooftop terrace is open in summer. The venue also includes a bar and restaurant.
