An unconventional love story between two people marked by different disabilities: an aging financial director of a slaughterhouse whose physical limitations prevent him from forming a closer relationship, and a young, withdrawn meat quality inspector with a perfect memory but an insurmountable phobia of physical contact. Both gradually discover they share identical dreams - in which they appear as a doe and a stag in the middle of a snow-covered forest - and attempt to fulfill them together. The film balances between everyday drama and dark comedy, exploring the duality of wakefulness and dreaming, animality and humanity.

And in 1908, the university's first female student discovers unusual patterns of the world around her through photographs.
