Three lifelong friends - Meda, Iva, and Valerie - have known each other since university, and they're well past twenty, even past sixty. Headstrong Meda lives alone and struggles not only with her wild garden but also with her own life. Iva dreams of something more than watching her husband, who has elevated the sofa to a throne and idleness to a life philosophy. Valerie, meanwhile, on the other side of the world, effortlessly collects awards for a lifetime of success in real estate - and certainly doesn't feel old.

She brings new energy to all three of them and the conviction that if they don't start living again, no one will do it for them. They take a third wind - talking about a second one after sixty is difficult. They embark on a wild party, visit a coffee shop, and eventually end up at a vineyard, where after a few glasses they discover that they've been hiding one big secret from each other all along.
