Amoosed: A Moose Odyssey

A totem animal, a guide between worlds, a being that reveals itself only to those who need it most - this is how the documentary filmmaker and ethnologist describes the moose, whose encounter becomes a pivotal moment in her life.

Her search for the secrets that have long surrounded moose takes her to Czech forests and to distant corners of Russia and Canada. The stories she gathers during her odyssey gradually piece together an image of a creature that has not yet revealed everything it holds within.
