About the venue: Jazz Dock

Jazz Dock is a design jazz club opened in 2009 on the banks of the Vltava river in Prague's Smíchov district, opposite Children's Island. It regularly hosts concerts of jazz, funk, soul, blues and world music, as well as its own festivals. The interior was designed by architects Ivan Sládek and Jaroslav Ourecký; a rooftop terrace is open in summer. The venue also includes a bar and restaurant.

About: Terne Čhave

Terne Čhave are a Roma band from Hradec Králové with roots going back to the 1980s - today the longest-running Roma group in the Czech Republic. They blend traditional Roma melodies with rock, funk, ska and world music in a style they call Rom'n'Roll. Their album More, love! won the Czech Anděl award for world music in 2009.
