Sports Photography Exhibition – A Fraction of a Second

The exhibition "A Fraction of a Second" presents a selection of the best images from the Sport category of the Czech Press Photo competition from 2021 to 2024, including photographs from the Paris Olympics. The exhibition was curated by photographer and Czech Press Photo manager Dan Materna and features works by seventeen photographers, including Lukáš Bíba, David W. Černý (Reuters), Ondřej Demla (ČTK), Martin Divíšek (EPA), Petr David Josek (AP), Vít Šimánek (ČTK), and Petr Topič (Mafra). The exhibition covers all sports disciplines from athletics to ice hockey, Olympic Games, championship matches, classic and extreme sports – and also includes shots of fans and behind-the-scenes moments. The organizer is Czech Photo. The exhibition runs from April 29 to June 14, 2026 at Czech Photo Fragment Gallery at Rohanské nábřeží 713/6 in Prague's Karlín district (entrance from U Invalidovny street), near Invalidovna metro station.
