Prague Dragon Boat Festival 2026

The Prague Dragon Boat Festival is the oldest dragon boat race in the Czech Republic, taking place for the 29th time in 2026 at the Žluté lázně venue on the Vltava River from May 15–17, 2026. The festival runs throughout the weekend across three racing days.

On Friday, May 15 from 3:00 PM, the ROTARY DRAGON BOAT CHARITY CHALLENGE (16th edition) takes place, followed by an evening awards ceremony, party, and concert at 7:00 PM. On Saturday, May 16, a captains' meeting begins at 9:00 AM, with small boat races (10-person crews) starting at 10:00 AM on 200 m and 1 km courses in the categories MIX / OPEN / WOMEN / JUNIOR / FUN / CORPORATE. On Sunday, May 17 from 9:00 AM, large standard boats (20-person crews) compete on 200 m and 2 km courses, with the festival concluding at 4:00 PM with the final awards ceremony.

A total of 107 crews have registered for small and large boats across 10 categories. The race is part of the national Czech Dragon Boat Cup ranking and is financially supported by the City of Prague. The event is organized by Dragon Boat Grand Prix / Czech Dragon Boat Association.
