On Sunday, August 30, we invite you to an open day held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the VENIO community. The programme includes guided tours of the monastery and pilgrimage site, prayers, and a concert in the church.

About the venue: Church of Our Lady Victorious on White Mountain in Prague

This Baroque pilgrimage complex in Prague's Řepy district was built between 1704 and 1730 on the site of the Battle of White Mountain (8 November 1620). The cross-shaped church with its cloisters and corner chapels is attributed to Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel; the central dome carries a fresco by Cosmas Damian Asam. The complex has been a national cultural monument since 2018. Since 2007, the adjacent buildings have been home to the Czech-German Benedictine community Abbacy Venio.
