The evening opens with Frenzy, a work by contemporary American composer John Adams - a piece born from the sensation of madness caused by information overload. In the middle of the programme, violinist Karen Gomyo will perform, focusing her interpretation on what the composer did not write into the notes but concealed between their lines. The concert concludes with Pictures at an Exhibition.
