LUSK DIZEHAN means "constant movement" in Breton - and is both the title and central theme of photographer Klez Brandar's long-term project, which began in 2016. Individual parts of the series capture Brandar's journeys, literal and symbolic, and through them explore societal movement, the tension between tradition and progress, and the human stories that connect it all.

Klez Brandar is a photographer, actor, skateboarder, and musician born in October 1984 in Nantes, France. He speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Breton, is learning Czech, and has lived in Prague for over a decade. His work combines analog and digital processes and repeatedly returns to the relationship between tradition and contemporary life.

For the edition LUSK DIZEHAN // 10, Brandar collaborated with Prague photographer Honza Sakař. Over a year-long creative process, a series of photographs emerged, hand-printed in Honza's darkroom as tintypes - direct positive wet collodion prints using the 19th-century technique. Honza has worked with wet collodion for eleven years and recently designed and built a digital-analog enlarger that allows him to create silver photographs on aluminum plates regardless of the technique used to capture the original.

Each work exists in an edition of one to three copies; each print bears a unique number on the back.
