Palác Akropolis, Prague

420 CZK · ≈ 17 €

Palác Akropolis will host the live premiere of Croak Dream with a full band. British singer, songwriter and producer Puma Blue (real name Jacob Allen) returns to Prague with his new album Croak Dream (Play It Again Sam, February 2026), which explores the question of how one would live if they knew when and how they would die.

The album was created at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios, where Allen and producer Sam Petts-Davies (The Smile, Warpaint) assembled a sonic world from improvisations, fragments and raw recordings. The music blends trip-hop, dub techno, jungle and experimental electronics with intimate singer-songwriter moments. The single "Desire", originally written in a hotel room and recorded on a phone, became the foundation of the entire album. Puma Blue released previous albums "In Praise of Shadows" (2021) and "Holy Waters" (2023).

The opening act is British composer, musician and multidisciplinary artist Tony Njoku, whose work moves between electronics, ambient, classical music and experimental pop. In 2025 he released his second album "All Our Knives Are Always Sharp", featuring Tricky, GAIKA, Ghostpoet, Coby Sey, James Massiah and Space Afrika. Njoku has performed at venues such as Berghain Berlin, Roundhouse London and Paradiso Amsterdam, and at festivals including CTM Berlin, Reeperbahn Festival and Green Man.
