A retrospective exhibition organized to celebrate the life and career of Czech visual photographer, educator, and curator Miloš Sedláček presents a selection of his key photographic series. The exhibition showcases his distinctive visual style, which combines documentary foundations with poetic stylization. Since 1984, Sedláček has worked as a professional photographer specializing in architectural and technical photography. He completed extraordinary studies in Artistic Photography at Prague's FAMU in 1985 under Professor Ján Šmok, and has taught photography at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague since 2004.
The opening reception takes place on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 5 p.m. at the Museum of Photography and Modern Visual Media (former Jesuit college, Kostelní 20, Jindřichův Hradec). The exhibition runs until June 21, 2026. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; the last visitor may arrive at 4:30 p.m.
