Adventure Playground in Písek 2026

Adventure Playground is a concept of open-ended children's play space focused on creative, unrestricted play and building with real materials — pallets, cardboard, fabrics, and actual tools. Unlike conventional playgrounds, there are no standardized climbing structures here, but rather space for imagination. A trained instructor is present throughout, and entry to the playground has clear rules. This is the second year the Adventure Playground has been held in Písek, organized by Sladovna Písek in collaboration with Smart Písek and supported by the City of Písek. This year it has moved directly to the Portyč housing estate, to a green area on Topělecká Street adjacent to the central car park, where it will be available from April 18 to May 23, 2026. It is open to the public Tuesday to Saturday from 14:00 to 18:00. For school groups, the playground is accessible on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 to 10:30 and from 11:00 to 13:00. The project is part of the broader City Lab programme and the Pískoviště festival.
