Odyssea

Odysseus (Matt Damon) was king of the Greek island of Ithaca, who according to legend and the poet Homer invented the famous Trojan Horse - a trick that greatly contributed to the fall of Troy and ended the exhausting siege of the city. After the battles end, he desires only one thing: to return home to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland).

Through his bold deeds, he has angered the gods according to legend, and they have decided to make his return as difficult as possible. This is why the word "odyssey" became synonymous with a journey full of obstacles that lead the wanderer away from his goal rather than toward it.

While Odysseus resists the gods, giants, the seductive sorceress Circe, and other perils, his wife Penelope faces men at home who wish to seize her and the entire kingdom of Ithaca.
