Gospel Night featuring Leona Gyongyosi takes place on December 18, 2026 at Betlémská kaple in Prague. The evening brings together Leona Gyongyosi and gospel choirs from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and the USA.

The programme includes dynamic choral pieces, solo performances, and group songs that blend American gospel tradition with Czech musical sensibility. Leona Gyongyosi is the organizer of the Gospel Night project and has been deeply involved with gospel music since 2013. Beyond her concert work, listeners also know her from Hitrádio.

About the venue: Betlémská kaple

Bethlehem Chapel on Betlémské náměstí in Prague 1 is a national cultural monument and the first preaching church in Europe. It was founded in 1391 specifically for sermons in Czech; Jan Hus preached here from 1402 to 1413. After being demolished in 1786, architect Jaroslav Fragner rebuilt it between 1950 and 1954 using surviving plans and wall fragments. The chapel is now owned by the Czech Technical University (ČVUT), which uses it as a ceremonial hall for graduations; outside those events it is open to visitors, together with the adjacent Preachers' House.
