About the venue: Městské divadlo

Žatec Municipal Theatre is one of the oldest stone theatres in Bohemia - its foundation stone was laid in 1848 and the late-classicist building opened before the National Theatre in Prague. It has been a listed cultural monument since 1958. Today it hosts visiting theatre companies, concerts and film screenings.
