Orchestr Berg - Six Lights
Contemporary music performed by Orchestr BERG: light and darkness - one ensemble - six soloists.
The programme features six solo compositions by three female and three male composers of different generations from various parts of the world. The stage will resound with bass clarinet, cello, violin, flute, percussion, piano and toy piano, as well as electronics. In the finale, their voices merge in a work by American minimalist Michael Gordon.

Soloists of Orchestr BERG: Balázs Adorján - cello, Hanuš Axmann - clarinet / bass clarinet, David Danel - violin, Martin Opršál - percussion, Pavol Praženica - piano / toy piano, Anna Stavělová - flute. Conductor: Peter Vrábel.
Orchestral BERG specializes in performing contemporary music and since its founding has commissioned and premiered nearly three hundred new works. In 2021, it won the prestigious Prix Italia award for the Czech Republic, which the country had not received for more than half a century.
