Jan Hrubý and friends take the stage on Friday, 13 November 2026 at Music Club Žlutý pes in Pardubice. The evening features a full band arrangement with Ondřej Fencl and Hromosvod, performing classics of Czech big beat and folk rock alongside original material. Hrubý's violin accompanies songs from Vladimir Mišík, Michal Prokop and other Czech music legends. The legendary Pardubice club has operated since 1991 and underwent renovation in 2023, maintaining its old-school rock character. This is one of two Czech tour dates.

About: Ondřej Fencl

Ondřej Fencl (b. 1981, Prague) is a Czech guitarist, keyboardist, singer, composer, and lyricist (Lenka Dusilová, Olympic). Since 2007 he has led Luboš Pospíšil's band 5P, and he founded the Prague folk-rock group Hromosvod. He also collaborates with Marsyas (Oskar Petr), Vladimír Merta, and Schodiště, and has written for Lidové noviny and Právo.

About: Hromosvod

Hromosvod is a Prague folk-rock band founded in November 1994 by singer, guitarist and songwriter Ondřej Fencl. Built around Fencl's original compositions - lyrics dense with internal rhymes, violin lines and a driving rhythm section - the band has released six studio albums over three decades and played more than 600 concerts. They occasionally back singer-songwriter Vladimír Merta as well.
