Latvian group Tautumeitas - six performers blending Baltic folk traditions with a contemporary sound - are heading out on their first European solo tour this autumn. In September, they play Warsaw, Berlin, Prague and Vienna.
The tour marks the release of their new album Līgojami, the group's first record devoted entirely to the Latvian midsummer festival. The album draws on ancient solstice songs and nature rituals, moving between driving rhythmic arrangements and intimate a cappella harmonies rooted in traditional Latvian polyphony.
Following their appearance at Eurovision Song Contest 2025, where Tautumeitas represented Latvia, the group performed at Pohoda Festival in Slovakia. Their live credits also include Glastonbury Festival, Eurosonic Noorderslag, Rudolstadt Festival and Festival du Bout du Monde. The Prague show takes place ahead of the band's debut US dates, planned for early 2027.
