160th Anniversary of the Battle of Königgrätz 1866

On July 3, 1866, a Prussian-Austrian battle was fought on the elevated terrain of Chlum northwest of Hradec Králové. It was the largest battle ever fought on Czech territory. Each year on the anniversary, the memorial zone hosts battle reenactments, commemorative ceremonies, and remembrance events.
