Summer Cinema IPN Prague: Pramen

An elegant doctor, Ingrid (Aňa Geislerová), works in the mid-1980s at a remote provincial hospital. Trapped in an exhausted marriage and stagnating career, she devotes most of her time to her patients. She delivers children and terminates unwanted pregnancies. She also performs sterilizations on Romani women without their full understanding.
