Obsession

Bear (Michael Johnston) is an ordinary young man hopelessly in love with his coworker Nikki (Inde Navarrette), yet too awkward to ask her out. In desperation, he buys a mysterious toy from a dubious antique shop - one that supposedly grants a single wish, any wish at all. Bear doesn't hesitate: he wants Nikki to love him.

The wish comes true instantly. Nikki becomes passionately, wildly obsessed with Bear - so wildly that it becomes dangerous. The more it troubles him, the colder his feelings grow, yet Nikki remains just as consumed and begins to act accordingly.

Bear tries to return the wish, but the shop owner won't help - or rather, offers advice Bear never wanted to hear. The spell can only be broken by death, preferably his own.
