CONSONANCE is a concert blending classical and popular music in the Mirror Chapel of Klementinum. Jan, the only blind graduate of the Prague Conservatory, a singer and pianist, performs alongside Alim, a conductor and multi-instrumentalist with an international career.

With the Euterpe ensemble, they present works by composers such as A. Vivaldi, D. Shostakovich, L. Cohen, V. Monti, and P. Simon.

About the venue: Klementinum

The Clementinum is a vast baroque building complex in Prague's Old Town, one of the largest of its kind in Europe. The Jesuits began construction in 1556 on the site of a former Dominican monastery, and the complex took nearly 170 years to complete. Today it is the seat of the National Library of the Czech Republic. Guided tours take visitors through the Baroque Library Hall, the Meridian Hall, and the Astronomical Tower.
