In a futuristic Shanghai, humans and sea creatures live in a fragile symbiosis. Stefan, a timid ship engineer, navigates a ruthless corporate hierarchy that ignores his visionary ideas - until the unexpected moment when the sea king's daughter, Princess ChaO, asks for his hand.

The couple suddenly finds themselves in the spotlight and caught in a whirlwind of emotions on a wild journey toward mutual closeness, integrity, and self-acceptance.
