About the venue: Museum and Gallery of Northern Plzeň Region in Mariánská Týnice

The Museum and Gallery of Northern Plzeň Region is housed in the former Cistercian priory of Mariánská Týnice near Kralovice, designed by the baroque architect Jan Blažej Santini. The museum has been based here since 1952; in 2018 the complex was listed as a national cultural monument and is owned by the Plzeň Region. Permanent exhibitions cover ethnography, urban life and the baroque heritage of the area, while temporary shows and concerts take place in the former monastery refectory. The museum received the Gloria musaealis award for its permanent exhibition.

Waldemar Matuška (1932–2009) was a Czech singer, actor and entertainer, one of the most prominent figures of Czech popular music in the second half of the 20th century. He became widely known for songs such as „Pramínek vlasů" and „Co je doma, to se počítá", and also appeared in films and theatre productions. In his later years he lived in exile in the United States.

About: Květa Fialová

Květa Fialová se narodila na Slovensku, v obci Vel'ké Dravce v okrese Lučenec. Její maminka byla výtvarnice, vedle malby se věnovala i sochaření. Na Slovensku žila rodina do roku 1938, kdy je slovenští nacionalisté přinutili odejít do Čech. Z konce 2. světové války si dospívající Květa odnesla nanejvýš traumatizující zážitek, když ji spolu s matkou brutálně znásilnili sovětští vojáci. Tato zkušenost byla počátkem jejího komplikovaného a rozporuplného vztahu k mužům. Po válce se matka vrátila na Slovensko a Květa Fialová zůstala sama. Přitahovalo ji divadlo a v roce 1946 začala hrát v Českém Těšíně. Téhož roku byla přijata na brněnskou konzervatoř. Pokračovala studiem na JAMU, které úspěšně zakončila v roce 1950. Ještě během studia se objevila v malé roli zapomenutého budovatelského snímku VELKÁ PŘÍLEŽITOST. V 50. letech postupně prošla divadelními angažmá v Opavě, Českých Budějovicích, Kolíně a jednu sezónu hrála dokonce ve vzdáleném Martině na Slovensku.

Miloš Kopecký was a Czech actor and one of the most distinctive figures of 20th-century Czech theatre and film. He is widely remembered for his role as the villain Hogofogo in the cult comedy western Limonádový Joe (1964). He was also a long-standing member of the National Theatre in Prague.
