The Secret of the Crystal Planet - Summer Cinema

Eleven-year-old Rea moves with her father to a newly settled planet following a family tragedy, where she befriends a boy named Andy. Together they discover an underground world unknown to humans - and within it, a lonely young creature of a rare species. They decide to protect it from the governor, who wants to exploit the animal for his own profit. Their search leads them into dangerous caves, where they uncover how reckless waste disposal threatens the entire hidden ecosystem.

The Secret of the Crystal Planet is a Czech animated family film. The project comes from a creative team behind Lichožrouty and Čtyřlístek. The story weaves together adventure with themes of ecology, responsibility, second chances, and coexistence of different worlds - at its heart is a young female protagonist grappling with loss and finding courage to protect what is right.
