The second edition of the Path to the Stars exhibition presents three young glass artists - Dominika Petrtýlová, Johan Pertl, and Vlastimil Šenkýř - who continue their creative work after completing their university studies.

The State Museum of Glass and Costume Jewellery, founded in 1904, is the only museum in the world combining both fields under one roof. It occupies an Art Nouveau building - the former Zimmer & Schmidt export house, listed as a cultural monument - and holds over 12 million items, including the second largest glass collection in the Czech Republic and the world's largest public collection of glass Christmas ornaments. Three permanent exhibitions run alongside changing displays, and a striking glass extension shaped like a cut crystal was added in 2020.
