The IDO World Tap Dance Championships 2026 will take place in Prague at UNYP Arena from October 20-25, 2026. Visitors can experience the world's finest in tap dance - competitors from 6 continents and 20 countries. This prestigious championship is organized by the International Dance Organization (IDO) in collaboration with Tap Academy Prague and the Czech Dance Organization (CDO).

About the venue: UNYP ARENA

UNYP Arena (formerly Aréna Sparta) is a multifunctional sports hall in the Libeň district of Prague, completed in 2008. The main hall seats up to 3,000 spectators and hosts floorball, handball and futsal; the complex also includes halls for table tennis and martial arts, an athletics stadium and a small-sided football pitch. The venue was renamed UNYP Arena in 2019 following a partnership with the University of New York in Prague. It serves as the home arena for floorball clubs AC Sparta Praha and FbŠ Bohemians.
