Marie Puttnerová

Marie Puttnerová is a Czech singer and songwriter. She is a member of the band Jablkoň and from 2008 to 2012 performed with the group Cymbelín. She has collaborated on various musical projects and maintains a solo career. She studied finance and European studies, and in 2020 graduated from the jazz programme at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory of Music. On her website, she describes herself: "As a child I spent hours in the bathtub (and elsewhere) singing practically anything that came to mind. Years in the children's choir Skřivánek and the VUS Ondráš ensemble strengthened my love of music from classical to folk. Crucial for me were my engagements with the bands Cymbelín, Jablkoň, Půljablkoň: Němec & Puttnerová, Zvíře jménem Podzim and many other guest appearances across genres. Now I am releasing my long-awaited debut album Laila tov."
