Jiří Charvát brings his full-length stand-up special "Komik, který neexistuje" to Hradec Králové on Tuesday, 22 September 2026 at the Velký sál of Adalbertinum. This is one of nine Czech dates on his tour running from August through October across the country. Adalbertinum is a Neo-Renaissance building designed by architect František Hellman in 1895-97 and now stands as a protected cultural monument. Charvát's absurdist humor explores existence, identity, and the anxieties that preoccupy us all - the show speaks to anyone who feels like an ever-shifting stream of consciousness wearing a human face.

About the venue: Adalbertinum, Velký sál

The Velký sál (Great Hall) is the main hall of Adalbertinum, a neo-Renaissance civic building in Hradec Králové designed by architect František Hellman and completed in 1897. Originally built as a Catholic association house, the building has been a protected cultural monument since 1958 and is run by the city's cultural and educational company. The first-floor hall seats up to 440 and hosts concerts, balls, theatre performances and congresses, with a bar just outside its entrance.
