Mňaga a Žďorp take the stage at Klub OKO in Havlíčkův Brod on Friday, 16 October 2026 at 21:00. The standing-room concert is part of the 36th Autumn Book Festival programme and marks one of three Czech dates on the band's autumn tour. Klub OKO occupies a historic building from 1905, originally built by the Sokol Německý Brod gymnastics society. The structure served as a gymnasium and cultural hall, later functioning as a hospital during the First World War. Today it operates as a multi-genre music club and cultural venue on Smetanovo náměstí.

About the venue: Klub OKO

A multi-genre music club and cultural venue housed in a historic building from 1905, originally built for the Sokol gymnastic association of Německý Brod. Over the decades it served as a gym, a cultural hall and a WWI field hospital, before being converted into a cinema in the 1960s. The name OKO was derived from SOKOL by dropping the first and last letters. Today the club hosts concerts, theatre, dance parties, workshops and lectures.

About: Mňaga a Žďorp

Mňága a Žďorp emerged from Valašské Meziříčí, building on the legacy of the earlier band Slepé střevo established in 1983. Operating under their present name since 1987, they achieved recognition through their debut album Made in Valmez (1991), which featured the hit track "Hodinový hotel". Led by frontman Petr Fiala, who composes most of the band's lyrics and melodies, the group has produced over fifteen studio albums throughout more than three decades. The band received the Anděl Award in the Band of the Year category in April 2026 for their album Hoříš? Hořím! (2025).
