Description was written before the event

The political podcast Kecy & Politika returns to Havlíčkův Brod. The show, created in spring 2021 by long-time Reflex commentator Bohumil Pečinka and political marketing expert Petros Michopulos, has produced over 250 episodes and regularly tours regional venues. This is the eighth visit to Havlíčkův Brod, where the podcast has become a favorite among local audiences since their first event in September 2021. The main topic of this evening will be the municipal elections taking place the following weekend.

About the venue: Klub OKO

A multi-genre music club and cultural venue housed in a historic building from 1905, originally built for the Sokol gymnastic association of Německý Brod. Over the decades it served as a gym, a cultural hall and a WWI field hospital, before being converted into a cinema in the 1960s. The name OKO was derived from SOKOL by dropping the first and last letters. Today the club hosts concerts, theatre, dance parties, workshops and lectures.
