Shahab Tolouie - Album Release!

The premiere of Shahab Tolouie's latest project, Ci vediamo, Goldoni! This album presents a concert version of music originally composed as fragments for the staging of Carlo Goldoni's play A Chaotic Lagoon at the Vinohrady Theatre. While the theatrical score used shorter sketches to set the atmosphere, Shahab has since developed these ideas into full-fledged compositions and entirely new songs that have never been performed or released before. The evening's centrepiece is the live premiere of these theatrical soundtracks performed by the guitar duo of Shahab Tolouie and Tomislav Zvardoň, accompanied by Carlo Zegarra Abanto on percussion. These arrangements strip the music down to a chamber "seaside conversation" between modern strings and 18th-century Italian folk motifs - this is the very first live performance of this new project!
