Ferst Dadler & Loré Lixenberg: ˈkonfɛrɛnt͡sɛ

An original and unrepeatable performance by the international collective Ferst Dadler and renowned British opera singer and sound artist Loré Lixenberg. Step into a space where insects, plants, flowers, people, and objects are equal and mutually dependent, their positions constantly shifting.

The performance ˈkonfɛrɛnt͡sɛ, created by acclaimed British opera singer Loré Lixenberg and the artistic performance group Ferst Dadler, is a meditation on sound, movement, and the boundaries of human perception. It is also an indoor version of the project Zahradníiíiíiíiíi republika - a participatory performance about the creation of a fictional republic in the public garden space behind the Pardubice City Gallery, located in the Pardubice Automatic Mills complex. That outdoor event will take place on Sunday, June 21st. The space, which over the past two years has been transformed from a construction site into a garden, may become a construction site again in the coming months, only to eventually become a parking lot.

The title references the meaning of the word "conference" (an activity consisting of consultation or receiving advice, always on an important or serious matter; "discussion of serious things...") and according to the creators, ˈkonfɛrɛnt͡sɛ is a conference as you know or imagine it - and at the same time, one you have never experienced before. Like any conference, audiences can choose their own level of participation. This creates an original and unrepeatable work that brings the experience gathered during the creation of the outdoor performance Zahradníiíiíiíiíi republika into the theatre space. The aim is to share with audiences the core values of the newly created republic and, through music and dance, discuss its future.
