Summer Camp at nacucky!: Experience Art

A week-long day camp at nacucky! house on Dolní náměstí 42 in Olomouc introduces children to various art forms through hands-on creative activities. The camp is structured as a week-long taster of creative pursuits — progressing through theatre, music, dance, visual art, and culminating in their integration. The focus is not on performance but on the joy of the creative process and personal expression. Registration is open until 1 June 2026.

In visual art, children will create surrealist collages, draw and paint using natural materials — working directly in parks near nacucky! and in Za(o)hrada nacucky!. In dance, they will draw inspiration from their own creations and surroundings, for example bringing to life the sculptures adorning the city centre. From theatre techniques, they will explore emotional expression, living pictures, and other theatrical games. The programme also includes sound creation, which will serve as background music for the final presentation at the end of the week.

Activities rotate in blocks; if a child is not interested in a particular activity, an alternative programme can be arranged by agreement. Prior experience is not required — children are worked with individually. The camp runs daily from 9:00 to 16:00. The price includes all-day drinks, lunches at Café nacucky!, and all materials and equipment.
