About the venue: Jiří z Poděbrad Square

Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad - known locally as Jiřák - was laid out in 1896 on former gardens in the Vinohrady district of Prague 3. Its centrepiece is the Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord, designed by Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik and built between 1929 and 1932; the 42-metre tower holds the largest round clock face in the Czech Republic. The square has a park-like character and hosts regular farmers' markets and neighbourhood events. A major reconstruction in 2024-2026 added new trees, paving and an underground rainwater retention tank.
