The Chaika Theatre in Prague: "Pushkin and Money" (10+)

The Chaika Theatre presents its European version of "Pushkin and Money" — a lively theatrical dialogue for the whole family. The production portrays Pushkin not as a bronze monument, but as a living person — cheerful, bold, sometimes desperate. Through his letters and bills, we discover how much a carriage ride cost, a bottle of Moët & Chandon, or a single line from "Eugene Onegin". The production was originally created in 2015 at Moscow's Teatru.doc under the direction of Anastasia Patlay, dramaturgy by Nana Grinstein, and music and texts by Svetlana Ben (band Serebryannaya svadba). In the European version, the cast includes Alexei Dedoborshch, Yegor Morozov, and Ira Verbickaya. The light theatrical form, humor, and acting energy make the production engaging for both adults and teenagers. Duration: 60 minutes. Suitable from age 10. The performance is in Russian.
