The exhibition explores the division and tension of contemporary hybrid reality. The motif of a double heart serves as a metaphor for the instability and indecision of identity. The project presents diploma works by students of the Photography Studio at the Faculty of Design and Art of the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň.

About the venue: Petrohradská Kolektiv

Petrohradská kolektiv is a non-profit, artist-run platform that has occupied a corner building from 1903 in Prague's Vršovice district since 2015 - the structure originally housed a steam mill and bakery. Founded by Edita Štrajtová and Daniel Konopáč, it brings together 36 studios, the Jedna Dva Tři Gallery (since 2016), an artist-in-residence programme, and the community-oriented Klub Petrohradská. The single-screen Kino Petrohradská opened in the courtyard in 2021; the yard also hosts open-air concerts, screenings and readings.
