The story follows bear brothers Brumla and Brůča, who as cubs lost their mother Barbara during a fire. Brůča witnessed Barbara leaving the burning building, but she never returned, leaving a deep wound in his heart. Years later, Brumla and Brůča meet Charlotte, who possesses an amber stone identical to the one their mother had.
