Glory of Czech Cuisine – Gastronomy Festival in Český Krumlov

Glory of Czech Cuisine is a month-long gastronomic programme of the Český Krumlov Beer Festival, running throughout May in Český Krumlov in collaboration with local businesses and partners. Throughout the month, Krumlov restaurants, pubs and bars come alive with the flavours of Czech cuisine – from hearty classics to modern culinary ideas. Participating establishments will offer festival menus inspired by Czech and regional cuisine, with an emphasis on quality and honest ingredients. This is not a competition, but a shared celebration of flavours. As part of the broader Beer Festival programme, there are also: May Beer Tour of Krumlov 1+1, Krumlov Brewery Day (10th anniversary of modern craft brewing) with concert programme and family entertainment, Traces of Beer – guided city tours following the history of beer culture, Beer Tent at the 53rd Český Krumlov Rally, Beer Rafting, Regional Breweries Day with craft brewery offerings and music, guided tastings of lagers and beer specials, and a grilling weekend. Festival events take place mainly at Porto 1560, pubs and restaurants throughout May and respect the opening hours of partner businesses. The programme is diverse – including free-entry events with paid consumption as well as ticketed events that include entertainment and selected gastronomy. The festival is under the patronage of Senator Tomáš Jirsa, South Bohemian Region Governor Martin Kuba, and Český Krumlov Deputy Mayor Dalibor Uhlíř.
