Danish String Quartet is a Danish chamber ensemble founded in 2002, widely regarded as one of the finest string quartets of its generation. The group performs repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary music and is known for its tonal blend and interpretive depth. It has released several acclaimed recordings, including a cycle of Beethoven's string quartets.

About the venue: Rudolfinum

The Rudolfinum is a neo-Renaissance cultural monument on Alšovo nábřeží in Prague 1, built between 1876 and 1884 by architects Josef Zítek and Josef Schulz. Since 1992 it has been the home of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, whose main stages are Dvořák Hall and Suk Hall. The building also houses Galerie Rudolfinum, focused on contemporary art, and serves as the centre of the Prague Spring and Dvořák Praha festivals.
