Dear friends, the Czech Kendo Federation would like to invite you to the 33rd Toru Giga Cup.

International Kendo Tournament in Prague.

Toru Giga is a great international tournament where kenshi and senseis from Europe and beyond meet in Prague to study and enjoy kendo together.

About the venue: TJ JM Chodov

TJ JM Chodov is a sports club in the Jižní Město district of Prague, with roots going back to 1924. Its complex on Mírového hnutí street includes a sports hall, multi-purpose rooms, a grass football pitch, an artificial turf pitch and a gym. Competitive sections cover handball, volleyball, football, powerlifting and climbing, and the facilities are also available for public hire.

Friday Welcome Keiko is traditionally held at a different venue - last year it was Sport centre Juliska, Praha 6
Competition categories: juniors (14-17 years), women (18+), men (18+), veterans 40+, mixed teams (5 athletes + up to 2 substitutes)
Admission for spectators: 100 Kč last year, children under 13 free (price for 2026 not yet confirmed)
Organizer: Czech Kendo Federation in cooperation with Prague clubs Kacubó Kenrikai, Kensei Dojo and Sandómon
Participant registration: registration form is sent to pkc@czech-kendo.cz (deadline for 2026 not yet announced)
International event - participants come from all over Europe and overseas
