Jazz Dock Orchestra: Big Band History

As part of the June programme, Jazz Dock Orchestra will perform a concert dedicated to classic big band repertoire. This time the orchestra will focus on jazz orchestral legends – Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Oliver Nelson, Buddy Rich, Thad Jones and Bob Brookmeyer.

Jazz Dock Orchestra is a modern jazz big band focused on original compositions and interpretations of classic big band repertoire. During its existence, it has collaborated with musicians such as Kurt Elling, Richard Bona, Ben Wendel and Niels Klein.
