The Dvůrfest music festival opens the season of events on the summer stage "in front of the theatre". The programme is compiled annually by the R. A. Dvořák Music School.

About the venue: Hanks House

Hankův dům is a neo-Renaissance building on Václav Hanka Square in Dvůr Králové nad Labem, built between 1867 and 1873 as the town theatre. It now operates as a municipal cultural centre hosting theatre and film performances, concerts of all genres, balls and dance courses. The venue also runs the nearby Svět cinema and has a theatre café. A Steinway D-274 concert grand serves the venue's concert season.
