STRESOR Rock

Stresor is a Czech rock cover band founded in 1999 when two former members of the band Kontakt met — Libor "DRAK" Chadraba (bass) and Miloslav "MIDLA" Vondráček (guitar). They were soon joined by Karel "KAREL" Petrů (drums) and Petr "SANDY" Sandhaus (vocals). The band started with a Judas Priest repertoire and gradually shifted to Czech rock bands — Kabát, Alkehol, Harlej, Škwor, and Arakain — a direction they have maintained ever since.

Over the years, the band has undergone numerous lineup changes. At the turn of 2017/2018, a new lineup formed around Midla Vondráček, joined by vocalist Catman (ex-Crionic, Elysium) and guitarist Pavel. In the past five years (2019–2024), Stresor has seen many musicians pass through, including Pavel Jirovský, Tonda Lesák, Radek Vašíček, Honza Maršálek, Pavel Cejpek, Fanda Green, Mároš Fitoš, and Jirka Bukač. The current lineup comprises more than ten members, with Midla Vondráček, Catman, and Tonda as permanent fixtures.

Entering its 25th season in 2024, the band performs at nearly 70 events per year. They play at major festivals (Benátská noc Bystřec, Stadion Cup Břehy, and others), have their home base in the main hall of DT in the former Agrobanka in Pardubice, and regularly perform in Vysočina, Dolní Morava, and the Kolín region. For 2024, the band is preparing more than ten new songs.
