CineStar České Budějovice is a multiplex cinema with 8 screens and a capacity of over 1,400 seats, located in the Čtyři Dvory shopping centre. It opened in March 2002 as part of the nationwide CineStar chain, founded in 2001. The cinema offers screenings in 2D, 3D and HFR, with 7.1 surround sound as standard and Dolby Atmos with laser projectors in selected screens. In addition to film premieres, it hosts live theatre broadcasts and audience Q&A events.
