TravelStory: Georgia and Armenia in Summer and Winter

A travel stand-up by photographer and traveler Pavel Svoboda about several expeditions to the Caucasus — to Georgia and Armenia, in both summer and winter.

The programme includes mountain treks in Svaneti, snow-covered Caucasus, New Year and Orthodox Christmas celebrations, hitchhiking and hiking, and visits to Armenian monasteries. Drone footage is also featured.

Pavel Svoboda (*1985) is a trained geographer and travel photographer. The author of travel lectures spent several years traveling through Asia, South America, and northern Europe. He has documented his experiences from extended six-month journeys in the books Across South America and Across Asia; he is now publishing his third book titled Mountain Wanderers.
