The Whisper of the Forest

Director Vincent Munier — winner of the César Award for Best Documentary 2022 and nominee at the Cannes Film Festival 2021 — ventures into silent forests with his father and son, where the tracks of lynxes, bears, and deer vanish in the morning mist.

The film captures not only the visual landscape but also its sounds: the rustle of leaves, the distant song of a bird, the crack of a branch. Munier passes on the wisdom his father once entrusted to him, now offering it to his own son.
