Amazonia

Amazonia is a documentary film for the whole family shot in the heart of the world's largest rainforest. After a plane crash, Saï, a capuchin monkey born and raised in captivity, finds himself alone and lost in the Amazon jungle. Unprepared for freedom, he must face the perils of nature and encounter jaguars, crocodiles, anacondas, tapirs, and giant otters. His only hope for survival may be finding other capuchin monkeys and being accepted into their group.

French director Thierry Ragobert and his team spent two years in the field to capture the scenery and wildlife in areas explored by few people. The documentary footage was then edited into the story of Saï's journey.
