About the venue: Jazz Dock

Jazz Dock is a design jazz club opened in 2009 on the banks of the Vltava river in Prague's Smíchov district, opposite Children's Island. It regularly hosts concerts of jazz, funk, soul, blues and world music, as well as its own festivals. The interior was designed by architects Ivan Sládek and Jaroslav Ourecký; a rooftop terrace is open in summer. The venue also includes a bar and restaurant.

Ida Nielsen is a Danish bassist and vocalist known for her virtuosic funk-driven playing style. She gained wide recognition as a member of Prince's band New Power Generation. With her own group The Funkbots, she pursues solo projects blending funk, soul, and R&B.
